How did Vijay Shanakr Meena lose the Election?
Vijay Meena hails from Labana village in the Amer region of Rajasthan. Both his parents have a physical disability affecting their legs. Vijay’s family is engaged in farming. Vijay came into the spotlight when NSUI announced him as the candidate for the post of Delhi President. The Meena community is a tribal community.
Vijay Shankar Meena completed his undergraduate studies and is currently pursuing an M.A. at the Department of Buddhist Studies, University of Delhi. Vijay worked very hard in the DUSU election. He visited every college and met with the youth. He lost the DUSU election by a margin of just 1,053 votes.
