Gyanesh Kumar joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1988, and his first posting was in Kerala. Gyanesh Kumar retired as India’s Secretary of Cooperation on January 31, 2024. What is CJP stand towards the CEC?
CJP chief Abhijeet Dipke has launched an agitation against the Chief Election Commission. Abhijit, along with his team, raised serious questions regarding this issue. Therefore, the court cannot consider the criminal act committed by them. It is very difficult to remove the Chief Election Commissioner from office. Bharatiya Janata Party stand against the Chief Election Commissioner
The BJP has fully backed the Chief Election Commissioner, describing the incident as politically motivated. BJP Spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi stated that opposition parties lack genuine issues, which is why this matter is being turned into a political issue.
A BJP spokesperson states that the comments and decisions regarding the file are an administrative matter concerning the three members of the Election Commission.
He said that all of SIR major decisions had the consent of the three Election Commissioners. Meanwhile, the two other Election Commissioners (Sukhbir Singh Sandhu & Vivek Joshi) state that they had recorded their dissent regarding the Chief Election Commissioner decisions on 14 occasions.
